I have sporatically added more links to the Websites and Downloads page -->. Dreamspark and the MSDNAA are some good ones to check out for FREE Microsoft software (no free office yet, see "The Ultimate Steal" for a good bargain).
You could also put up a link to adafruit and digilentinc. digilentinc would only be a good one if students wanted the fpga dev boards, but they also have arduino enabled 32 bit microchip boards as well.
